With annual sales of 259.5 million euros and organic growth of 14.3 percent in fiscal 2011-2012, SII is growing faster than other firms in its sector. The technology engineering and consulting group plans to hire 1,200 new consultants between April 2012 and March 2013, including 650 in France.
We're looking for both starting and experienced candidates, with engineering or university degrees, explains André Gouetta, the SII Group executive in charge of recruiting. The positions we seek to fill are in information and communication technology, embedded software and electronics, mechanical and systems engineering, management information and systems & network infrastructure. In keeping with SII's emphasis on localized services, the new employees will be hired by its 43 French and foreign operations. The company intends to rely on specialized websites and trade events to help it reach its goals, in addition to taking advantage of its cooperation with engineering schools and frequent participation in forums for job seekers. One-third of those appointed will be promoted from within the Group, adds Mr. Gouetta. We will also increase our presence on social networks in order to reach out to potential applicants.
After hiring 1,490 employees in 2011-2012, the SII Group now has a total workforce of 4,300, including 2,800 in France. In the various countries and regions where it operates, SII provides services to clients in the telecommunications, aerospace, defense, banking, insurance, electronics, energy, distribution, automobile, transportation and public services sectors.
