Product Owner Mobile Platforms

Profile

For our client, a worldwide known company, leader in his technologic domain, we are looking for talented people like you. You will tightly integrate hardware, software and services.

As product owner, you will play a critical role in delivering a great mobile experience across Android and iOS platforms, with two key responsibilities : working with the product management team to ensure items in the roadmap are broken down into potentially shippable increments that are well understood by the team, and working directly with the mobile development teams to ensure successful delivery of the features.

  • Work closely with Product managers (PMs), architects and tech leads to break down features in preparation for development

  • Provide frequent status and feedback to PMs on the state and progress of features during sprints

  • Communicate priorities and provide list of user stories to be built each sprint by teams

  • Single point of contact for multiple scrum teams (iOS & Android)

  • Ensure user story Definition of Ready status is reached before development

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and take decisions on trade-offs

  • Accept or reject results of user stories after each sprint

  • Participate in roadmaps, release planning, grooming, spring planning & demo/review meetings

Qualifications

  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Have at least 5 years experience building consumer products (on product or technical side)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Can show repeated success in shipping products to consumers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Are a born leader
  • Think that less is better, and push for building MVPs instead of complex features
  • Prefer metrics to instincts
  • Have ability to think high-level, but dive deep into details when required
  • Love working with teams and challenging them
  • Are able to inspire respect - from your experience, and from your actions
