In the early 1990s, SII sought to set itself apart from competitors and to ensure the long-term future of its business by implementing quality policies, including by following the ISO 9001 guidelines. By doing so early in its existence, SII gained a reputation and its processes have now matured.
The Company secured its first ISO 9001 certification in 1992. It was extended the following year to all of its locations and operations (system integration, software maintenance, technical assistance). SII was pioneering this approach at the time (it was only the fifth company in its line of business to be certified for system integration and the second for technical assistance). The certification has been renewed ever since by the French AFAQ quality assurance association, so that SII has now been ISO 9001 certified for almost 20 years.
Aix, Ile de France, Sophia et Sud-Ouest are certified AS/EN/JISQ 9100.
This standard, based on the principles of ISO 9001, is specifically dedicated to the aviation industry. Drafted at the initiative of the biggest players in the sector, it has become a recognition for all service providers in the aviation industry.
